Crowd-voting is open for the first IFSEC Future of Security Competition. The nine finalists have prepared 90-second long pitches, available through a dedicated crowd-voting website powered by OmniCompete.
Everyone is eligible to vote once, but must first register (cost-free) with OmniCompete. Public votes will be accepted until Tuesday, May 17, and will count towards the final evaluation.
Sponsored by defence contractor Raytheon, the IFSEC competition is seeking commercial security solutions from individuals, groups and companies with an annual turnover below โฌ50M. Finalists will pitch their products live to judges and an audience on May 17 at IFSEC 2011 in Birmingham, UK. The judges will add their evaluations to the public vote to determine the winning team, who will be awarded $10,000 and industry mentorship.
