Data Store Supplier

by Msecadm4921

ADI Global Distribution has signed a supplier agreement with Overland Storage to deliver its ‘Snap Server’ Internet Protocol (IP) video surveillance solutions.

The distributor says that it’s to meet a growing market demand for IP data storage in the UK and Ireland.

Designed to store large quantities of images and video from digital CCTV cameras, Overland Storage Snap Server products can help mid-range and distributed enterprises ensure that data is constantly protected and readily available. The range also helps to improve data recovery speed, simplify short and long-term data retention and make cost-effective disaster recovery a reality. The range can be networked with almost any IP camera and is the firms say suitable for use with Mobotix CCTV products.

Ray Ashby, Product Manager for IP at ADI, said: “This new agreement comes at an ideal time, with increasingly higher resolutions achievable with current technologies. This new agreement with Overland will help us meet the resulting demand for better data storage."

"We are excited about the new distribution agreement with ADI and look forward to supplying the storage requirements created in the IP video surveillance market as a result of advancing technologies," David Spate, EMEA Sales & Marketing Director, at Overland Storage.
