Derwent Range

by msecadm4921

Distributor Videcon PLC is now stockist of Derwent’s AEGIS range of CCTV illuminators.

A range of infrared and white light illumination for CCTV, the AEGIS range features patent pending Constant Light technology, designed to compensate for LED degradation and deliver a constant level of lighting, the product firm says. A performance related issue identified by Security Consultants, Specifiers and end users alike, LED degradation results in poor light output, impaired image quality and reduced illumination range.

AEGIS illuminators also feature Black Diamond micro-refractive lens technology which enables even illumination, wider beam patterns and increased surveillance range, the makers add. A built-in power regulation circuit means AEGIS can be powered direct from any 12/24V AC/DC power supply and without the need for a separate PSU for, it is claimed, quicker, more aesthetically pleasing installations.
