Philips CSI is unveiling new digital CCTV and Observation Systems, the new Praesideo – a digital public address and emergency evacuation system ? and security enhancements to its DECT 6000 cordless telephone and paging system. Philips, as a major sponsor of this summer?s World Cup, and feature football competitions, videos and giveaways. Philips CSI is launching its Hi-Q four channel digital recorder ? featuring digital recording on all four channels simultaneously in real-time, offering DVD quality and up to 200 images per second recording. At a conventional 25 images/s on all four channels, the Hi-Q offers a full two days recording, and this time can easily be extended using the recorder?s time-lapse modes, various video quality settings and a time scheduler. Other features include its MPEG2 compression to provide video recording; motion detection; four alarm inputs; plus search and retrieval facilities The alarm review button allows all alarm events to be reviewed without interrupting recording. Also on show is the REO colour CCTV observation system aimed at retail and small to medium businesses, handling up to four or eight cameras and featuring built-in motion detection, alarms and event handling. With the Praesideo PA system, messages can be pre-recorded and stored digitally, and broadcast automatically in response to alarms or events, or generated via call stations or fireman?s station with priority for emergency messages.

Praesideo offers multi-zone capability with almost unlimited call stations and speakers plus background music if required.
