DED Limited, the manufacturer and distributor of PoS (Point of Sale) equipment, plastic card printers and specialist (kiosk, panel, portable and industrial) printers, has been awarded exclusive distribution rights for the ExchangeIt CardExchange product line in the United Kingdom.
The arrangement also makes DED Limited a Certified Solutions Provider for the CardExchange product.
CardExchange is aimed at government agencies, universities, corporations, and small businesses to issue secure credentials. CardExchange’s Small Business Server (SBS) Edition allows administrators to manage clients, card templates, and database connections from a central location. In addition, the ability to grow with customer needs as technology evolves means CardExchange can continue to adapt to the application.
"It was a natural choice to have DED Limited as exclusive distributor for the United Kingdom, not only because of their proven ability to meet customer needs, but because of their unsurpassed capacity to adapt to market demands," said Marcel Oosterhof, President, ExchangeIt. "A lot people forget how complex card printing solutions can be. It is important for a product that can supply that level of complexity has a team that is able to identify how and when to use the right products based on what the customer needs truly are. The DED Limited team, lead by Elliot Davis, has demonstrated the continuous ability to not only meet, but exceed, expectations by providing a sales and support team that is not only aware of latest technology, but also capable to understand the unique needs of their customers. This is something that is a key factor for ExchangeIt in consideration of partner relationships."
The new distribution partnership will says DED Limited provide resellers the ability to create customised solutions for customers in need of secure card production. This brings resellers the ability to enter into custom application opportunities in demand in the market.
"CardExchange has proven itself to be a very reliable and capable product, be it for a small user with just one printer who wants to print some mono badges, to a multi user application with encoding, photo capture and multiple database," said Elliot Davis, Sales Manager, DED Limited. "Whatever the application, there is a CardExchange product to suit it. The software is very easy to set up thanks to the wizards, and users find it very intuitive. In no time they can be taking photos and printing cards with ease."
"We look for suppliers who work well with us, who support us and that we can rely on and trust," said Elliot. "To date the relationship has proven to be a great one with reliable products and excellent support from the ExchangeIT team. Equally as important, it’s an enjoyable relationship too."
