Electronic security product distributor Norbain SD has published the latest editions of its bi-annual catalogues: The Definitive Guides to CCTV and access control.
"With four new brands, numerous new product lines and a revised layout to reflect latest trends, our new catalogues are testament to the dynamism of the industry and the vitality of Norbain", says Dermot Grace, Norbain SD’s Managing Director.
Verint and Neurodynamics make their first appearance in a Norbain catalogue. Other new products also featured for the first time include the Vi Series of hard disk recorders from Videoswitch, Dallmeier’s DVS6000 HDR, and, Mitsubishi’s DLX-TL5000 and 400 series HDRs. Newly featured cameras include Baxall’s Hyper-D, Dennard’s new 2040 internal fully functional dome and the new Dennard 1000 Series vandal-resistant dome with its camera adjustment feature which eliminates the need to open the dome once installed. Pelco’s range of fibre optic products also features.
Changes to the structure of the catalogue include a new section for dome systems, previously listed under cameras; and new IP networking section within digital recording.
Access
In the access control catalogue (a summarised version of it is at the rear of the CCTV catalogue) Videx and Access Control Technology Limited (ACT) are featured for the first time. The Videx range of video and audio door entry products includes phone, code, proximity, video and vandal resistant packaged products including the V2200 and SP380 for door entry. Products from ACT featured include digital keypads, card readers, door controllers, PC software, card media, and accessories. New products in the access control catalogue from Norbain suppliers include the Bewator Entro 5 access control system, Fermax Sailing Line and Loft range of video entry systems, Paxton’s new range of readers; and more detailed coverage of BPT solutions.
