Geutebruck’s new GVK-640 colour camera has a nitrogen-filled dome and a polished V4A stainless steel housing.
Dust-proof, the German manufacturer reports, and resistant to condensation, pollution and salt-laden air, the GVK-640 is designed, the firm adds, for hostile environments: such as ports and harbours, chemical plants, tunnels – wherever protection class IP67 (or optionally IP68) is required.
While its all-round visor shields the dome and camera from rain and sun, its convection cooling and thermostatic heating functions ensure camera operation from -20 to +50 degrees C. The product can be wall or ceiling mounted and, if required, is supplied with a paint finish of the customerโs choice.
