New from Videx, the Kristallo range of audio and video apartment units for door entry. Features include functional touch sensitive controls.
With what the London firm calls a contemporary and elegant design, Kristallo units will complement modern interior designs and lifestyles. Available in black or white, with a crystal smooth surface finish, compact flush and low profile surface mounting versions are available.
The range includes eight models – four audio and four video apartment units – designed for use with the Videx VX2200 digital door entry system. This allows the Kristallo to be used on any size system; from a single apartment, to large communal installations.
Both flush and surface mount versions of Kristallo include hands-free speech while the surface versions also include a telephone handset for full duplex speech. Video apartment units feature a colour TFT 3.5-inch LCD screen and other standard features for the range include a timed privacy facility, door open LED, local door bell input and a programming menu with many user options. With the video versions, an on-screen display (OSD) provides all information for programming and user preference menus, with call progress information.
Future features will include a call recording facility with back up to a micro SD card that will store up to 128 still pictures or 66 fifteen-second video clips both with time and date of call. A serial Bus will also be added to allow integration into a home automation system.
