Glutz has added to the range of high performance locking technology with the HZ Lock, a multifunctional lock for security doors.
The HZ-lock comprises a main lock, which is level with the door handle, with additional upper and lower deadbolts – all connected by hardened bars that are integrated into the front plate.
Burglar resistant, the bolts, casings and connecting bars have been hardened to protect against drilling, with the throw of each deadbolt 20mm. Suitable, it is claimed, for emergency doors, the inner door handle or bar is permanently connected to the lock mechanism and the door can be opened from the inside without needing a key. With automatic self-locking, the external handle can be engaged by any electronic access control system or mechanically operated by key. The HZ Lock is also tested and approved for fire resistant doors.
