Manufacturer Urmet Domus has launched a hands-free version of the Utopia video door phone.
The surface and flush mounted hands-free models come with a TFT colour display to offer bright images from any angle, the product firm reports. Both models offer a range of functions to ensure users can identify and control entry of visitors.
There are two speech settings. ‘Push to talk’ or ‘Speech locked’, both of which offer clear duplex speech for the duration of the call. For the flush version, standard fixings are used.
The makers add that all the functions of Utopia are adjustable: colour, contrast and brightness. LEDs provide a warning if the door is left open or if the mute facility is active.
