IEC, UK distributor of electric strike product TRIMEC, have announced the release of new variations to their main product, the TRIMEC ES110 electric strike.
TRIMEC have introduced new slim long faceplate versions of the ES110, enabling, the makers say, easier installation to narrow doors and frames.
Nigel Finlayson, IEC57 TRIMEC Product Manager, says “The TRIMEC ES110 has enjoyed market leadership for some years, owing to its rapid changeover (Fail Open / Fail Secure) capability, high holding force using hardened locking pins in shear, jaw depth, low current consumption and attractive warranty. Unfortunately, some applications have been unable to enjoy the benefits of the TRIMEC ES110; primarily due to doors and frames being slim in design. The introduction of these enhanced variants will allow nearly every door in the UK to be protected by TRIMEC, an accomplishment we are proud to announce to the security market.” The versions and options of the TRIMEC ES110 include a lipless model, IP56 weather-resistant model, push-in extension lips, rebates plates, sash lock faceplates, AC/DC rectifier sounder module, PAS 24 Standard and a new slim long faceplate.
