Dumfriea and Galloway Police are holding a Licensing Drug and Alcohol awareness conference on November 9 in Dumfries. The conference is aimed at Licensees, Door stewards and Staff within licensed premises. The aim of the day is to educate licensee and staff on current practices and trends aimed at Drugs and Alcohol misuse.
The aims and objectives of part of this conference will be on community safety issues pertaining to substance misuse. Within the conference organisers are intending have a display of security products which can be purchased and available brochures of companies that can supply suitable products.
