CCTV manufacturer Dedicated Micros have hailed research findings, published by IMS Research, that the manufacturer reports confirms its market position as number one supplier of own brand Digital Video Recorders (DVRs).

In the IMS report, ‘The World Market for CCTV and Surveillance Equipment’, DM points to it heading the DVR category with a market share of 7.7pc, based on IMS Research analysis of 2004 data. Dedicated Micros also leads in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) with a 15.1pc share, way ahead of its nearest rival on 5.6pc.
