CCTV manufacturer Videoswitch reports an upgrade to one of its digital video recorders.
In common with all the company’s DVRs, the Vi400 Slimline has, since it was launched in January 2005, incorporated a built-in CD writer, removal hard drives and out of the box recording that can be simply set in terms of number of days. Available with either 12 or 16 camera inputs, the product now offers integrated coax and twisted pair dome control and PIR wireless perimeter detection support.

Roland Simmons, Managing Director of Videoswitch, says: “The Vi400 now has the same functionality of our top of the range DVR, the Vi600 Trident. The only major difference is the storage capacity of the two machines. The Vi400 can provide up to of 500 Gbyte storage whilst the Vi600 provides 1500 Gbyte via three removable hard drives.”
