Eagle Technologies has officially launched in the USA with the opening of manufacturing and sales facilities on the East coast and in partnership on the West coast, to cover the North American market as well as parts of South America and Asia.
Eagle USA will be headed by various shareholders including Managing Director Greg Hawkins and VP of Sales Ryan Hawkins.
With, according to the company, demand of good quality plastic cards outstripping supply, Eagle USA will initially be focusing on manufacturing and supplying its Plus-Card range of quality plastic cards. Made from PVC and Polyester/PVC Composite to ISO standards, the Plus-Card brand is dust free and has smooth edges for better quality print and is the distributor says manufactured to enhance image quality, with strong colours and detailed, readable barcodes and text. Biodegradable and other environmentally friendly cards designed for the desktop card printer user will soon be announced.
After the first year of Plus-Card manufacturing and supply to the desktop market, the plan for Eagle USA is to move into distribution of desktop printers, accessories and consumables, offering value add services such as eShop web leasing (already in the UK) to the reseller community only.
Chris Rayner (Managing Director of Eagle Technologies Ltd) and Greg Hawkins (Managing Director of Eagle USA), behind the launch in the USA, say: โWe see a great business opportunity in the States, especially for our Plus-Card range.
