Eema Meet

eema, the European association for e-business, has announced the keynote speaker and key session topics at this year’s ISSE (Information Security Solutions Europe) in Budapest on September 27-29.

US cyber-security man Howard Schmidt will be presenting an opening keynote speech at the start of the three-day conference alongside co-organisers ENISA (European Network and Information Security Agency) and the Hungarian Ministry of Informatics and Communications.

Also confirmed are the key areas that will be addressed by three separate daily tracks, which will be split into sessions chaired by eema members.
 
On the opening day of ISSE Howard Schmidt, Former White House Cyber Security Advisor and President and CEO, R & H Security Consulting LLC, will be addressing attendees on the industry’s past year. Schmidt has been CSO at Microsoft, Vice President and Chief Security Strategist at eBay Inc. and a member of the President’s Committee of Advisors on Science and Technology.
 
The opening day of ISSE will cover Web Services, Trusted Computing, Identity Management and Mobile, Wireless and Embedded Security across the three session tracks. Tracks confirmed for day two are eID and biometrics, eHealth, Privacy and Data Protection and Cross-organisational Security with the final day’s tracks confirmed as the Economics of Security, Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, Information Security Management and Certification.
 
Workshops for attendees will also take place throughout the three days, hosted by co-organisers ENISA, programme organisers TeleTrusT and host the Hungarian Ministry of Informatics and Communications.
