Eruma plc, an AIM traded provider of counter terrorism, intruder prevention products and lighting, has, through its security blinds division (‘Security Blinds’), won a £1,133,000 contract to install its Secur range of security blinds at a London based foreign embassy.
Under the terms of the contract, Eruma will provide the embassy with its proprietary security blinds in over 500 windows. It is anticipated that over 90 per cent of the installation will be complete by the end of 2011 which will generate about £1 m of revenue for this year for Eruma.
Eruma Chief Executive Wayne Money said: “This contract represents one of the most significant contracts to be gained by the company and was won after many months of evaluation, conceptual design, and proof of suitability to meet the stringent criteria demanded by the client. This prestigious and high value contract highlights Security Blinds’ increasing reputation across the international counter terrorist arena and will, we hope, be followed by other similar contracts as our products become more widely recognised.”
