Bob Kipps, UKT&I deputy head fire and security sector, says: ‘The UK security sector has expertise in CCTV, access control, security systems and equipment, personal security and security
advisory services. It is particularly strong on systems integration and, after 30 years of dealing with terrorism, has a strong capability in risk/threat assessment and how best to respond. This total capability is recognised and valued round the world by a wide range of customers, from businesses and private households through to police forces and government agencies. This exhibition will show just how well the UK is doing in this field.’ HRH Prince Michael of Kent attended a reception hosted by UKT&I and the British Security Industries Association. IFSEC International Export Awards were presented by Duarte Figueira, Director Infrastructure Projects of UKT&I’s International Sectors Group.
