Distributor DED Limited has been appointed by Fargo Electronics as a distributor for the Professional Range of plastic card printers.
Having distributed the Fargo Persona range of plastic card printers for just over two years, DED will now offer the full range of Fargo printers to include the Professional Series. Positioned alongside a portfolio of card printers from Zebra, Magicard, Star Micronics and Axiohm, the addition of the Fargo Professional Series will enable DED to provide customers with a wider range of specialist card printing solutions backed by technical expertise and customer service, according to the Lydd, Kent-based distributor.<br><br>What they say<br><br>"DED has been successfully distributing Fargo Persona card printers for more than two years," said Spencer Marshall, Fargo Area Sales Manager. "With the addition of Fargo’s Professional Series to their offering, DED will be able to introduce Fargo products into one of their core markets." <br><br>The Fargo Professional range, pictured, consists of the HDP5000 Card Printer/Encoder which offers high definition printing. The HDP600 Card Printer/Encoder, which is a dependable choice for government and corporate applications. The HDP600 CR100 Card Printer/Encoder which is suitable the firms say for over-sized photo ID cards, event ID and any application that calls for IDs to stand out from the crowd. The DTC550 Card Printer/Encoder which offers secure ID card issuance for business, print bureaus and education applications and the DTC400 Card Printer/Encoder which is the easy and flexible way to print and encode for almost any kind of application.

And on IFSEC stand 8021, DED will showcase a range of ID, security card printing and visitor management products. The Zebra P640i card printer will be featured with CardExchange plastic card design software from Exchange IT. Also there, the Zebra P330i and P430i with CardFive Vision, the new plastic card design software from NFive; the Fargo C30 and HDP5000 models; and new entry level printers – the Zebra P100i and the Magicard Enduro. The Zebra P100i features a single feed design, for printing individual custom cards on demand or for quick personalisation of pre printed cards. The Magicard Enduro allows field upgrades from single to double sided operation without tools or hardware.
