At just three inches high, the GBC by Kalatel Mini-Ball camera is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand.ÿ It mounts discreetly on a ceiling or wall with its standard mount and can also be mounted over a single gang box.ÿ The gray Lexan Mini-Ball camera is weatherproof and able to withstand temperatures ranging from minus 20 degrees F (minus 29 degrees C) to 140 degrees F (60 degrees C). The GBC by Kalatel Mini-Ball camera is a CCTV surveillance camera that allows users to provide surveillance in extremely close quarters and areas where standard cameras would be obtrusive, explains Darren Nicholson, Kalatel National Marketing Manager. During implementation, installers can rotate the ball 350 degrees and tilt it 90 degrees to get the desired picture wherever it?s mounted. The Mini-Ball?s black-and-white camera delivers a resolution of 425 TV lines and light sensitivity of 0.1 lux.ÿ The color camera delivers a resolution of 380 TV lines and light sensitivity of 1 lux.ÿ It accepts lenses of 2.5, 4, 6, 8 or 12 mm. The camera features a high-speed electronic shutter that compensates for changing lighting conditions, from bright sunlight to dim outdoor lighting.ÿ It also provides a backlight compensation circuit that prevents foreground objects from becoming silhouetted against bright backgrounds.ÿ The camera includes a plug-in power supply and easy-connect leads for installation.
