Installer Capital Vision has carried out wide-ranging security and access control work at Vandenbergh Foods in Purfleet. Manufacturer Conway Security Products supplied DC pan and tilt units and telemetry units from their Omega range. The 2020DC pan and tilt heads offer 55 degrees a second pan speed and 12 degrees a second tilt. They meet IP66 standards and are made of aluminium; customers can specify colours to meet their requirements. A two-year warranty is standard. As for telemetry, High Wycombe-based Conway supplied their Omega receivers and keyboards. The Omega receivers offer 75 pre-sets, 40 tours, and DC variable speed. The telemetry is part of an integrated application using perimeter detection and building management systems, all connected by fibre optic cable. The site also uses Redwall dual channel processing long range passive infra-red detectors from Surrey manufacturer Security Enclosures.
