The FSA’s annual financial crime conference in London EC1, on June 22, is say organisers a chance to get an update on the position and continuing importance of financial crime within the future UK regulatory landscape.
The event at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, will be chaired by William Amos, Head of Retail Enforcement at the?Financial Services Authority. Topics will include the new Bribery Act; and the findings of two of the regulator’s latest thematic projects – one on high-risk customers and businesses in the context of anti-money laundering, and the other on lenders’systems and controls against mortgage fraud, which will include good and bad practice examples.
