New from Schueco UK is a 16 page, illustrated brochure of the company’s latest aluminium fire and smoke protection doors, screens, windows and façades.
The brochure includes detailed specifications, performance criteria, size parameters and suggested applications. To help choice of system, it also contains guidance about the fire protection performance classifications of EN 13501-2, together with information on Document B and the Fire Safety Engineering Approach.
One section is devoted to the increasingly important subject of SHEVS, a regulation that was introduced in the 2006 version of Approved Document B, for which Schueco has developed a choice of windows. All these comply with EN 12101-2 and have been the subject of an extensive testing programme since only windows, glazing and operating components tested together can be specified.
