Westminster has another Project Griffin Counter Terrorism Awareness Course on Friday, April 11.
It’s runing at the New Players Theatre, Villiers Street, WC2N 6NG. Future Griffin events are running in London in Juneand September. Like earlier courses, which began with the nearby City of London Police, police give security officers briefings on the terrorist threat, cordons and communications in an incident, and the dos and don’ts of bombs, among other things.
For details of the next Project Griffin course in the City of Westminster, contact Charing Cross Police Station, Agar Street, London WC2N 4JP, or email projectgriffin@met.police.uk
It’s on a first come, first served basis. It starts at noon for 1230, then runs all afternoon. There isn’t food so think about eating beforehand. There is a nominal fee of £30 to cover expenses. You get a certificate on completion.
