Guide To Be Alert

by msecadm4921

The Security Company reveals that from almost 2.5 million fraud victims, less than 10 per cent reported the crime to the police, and the vast majority didn’t even tell their friends according to research by Age UK.

To highlight the need to be alert to fraud, and report crime, the company today releases an important guide on its website:

The guide exposes the most popular scams, and offers tips on how to protect yourself and your family from criminal activity.

"So many people are simply unaware that a fraud is taking place in the early stages and it’s so easy to get sucked in," says Bernadette Palmer, Senior Communications Consultant for The Security Company. "But simply by being aware of fraudulent techniques and knowing what to do about it can protect you against such crimes."
