HGV Crime Solutions

by Msecadm4921

About the forthcoming the HGV Crime Solutions event, bringing together, organisers say, the forces to combat the growth in vehicle crime.

Launched last May, Eurowatch provides 24-hour access to police across Europe. It works via a single telephone number that a subscriber can call from any country, allowing information to be communicated in any European language. A unique feature of the service is its capability to forward vehicle tracking information direct to police in real-time, enabling them to respond with greater speed and precision. This operates with all GPS-based systems. The service works through a central website www.eurowatchcentral.com and has a network of National Service Providers in each country, who have accreditation to police and provide service cover 24 -365. Peter Vyvyan-Robinson, director of Eurowatch which is a main sponsor of the first HGV Crime Solutions Show and Seminar, said: ?Clients realise that vehicles and cargo are more vulnerable when outside their home country and Eurowatch provides a type of protection that has been previously unavailable. Now, for the first time, when a crime occurs in a foreign country, there is a reliable way of accessing the police.?
