CCTV manufacturer Videotec has recently re-designed the aluminium housing HOV.
Re-engineered to simplify installation, the firm says, the new HOV ensures protection against all environmental conditions (IP66 rating) and houses most combination of cameras and lenses, it is claimed. Thanks to its side opening and its plug-in connectors, the accessibility and service of the camera, lens and all its connections is made far easier, according to the makers. HOV, equipped with thermostated heater and sunshield, offers the possibility of different mountings: regular bracket and cable glands or full cable management bracket. HOV will fit a built-in wiper, not interfering with viewing range of the installed camera, the makers say. It will be possible to mount it on the new high performances positioning unit ULISSE as simple enclosure or with block day/night Sony camera, equipped with 26x optical zoom lens.
