IFSEC 2012 Date

by Msecadm4921

Next year, IFSEC International 2012 organised by UBM Live is to launch an interactive feature area focusing on lone worker protection.

It is estimated that 6.8 million people are lone workers, which is 22pc of the 31.2m UK working population.  Lone workers are those who work by themselves without close or direct supervision. This new section of the exhibition is aimed at educating lone workers and their employers from multiple vertical sectors โ€“ including healthcare, retail, education, the utilities, facilities, local authorities and housing associations โ€“ about the merits and benefits of the latest approved lone worker protection systems.

Taking place from 14-17 May at the NEC in Birmingham, IFSEC International 2012 is aimed at security installers, manufacturers, distributors, IT integrators, end users and consultants. The Lone Worker Protection feature will be based in the extensive exhibition at IFSEC, which will be organised into the following categories: Integrated Security, IP and Network Solutions, Access Control, CCTV and Surveillance, Intruder Alarms, Public Security (including Physical Security and Perimeter Protection), Security Solutions and Fire Solutions. Companies interested in exhibiting at IFSEC International 2012 should contact Peter Poole on: +44 (0)20 7921 8284 or at [email protected].
