The Luton-based firm was demonstrating UK designed and manufactured technology capable of delivering the firm claims high bandwidth video transmission over low power, licensed and unlicensed wireless bridges.
Wavesight outdoor wireless communications solutions are gaining the firm says market traction with security and surveillance systems integrators. Featuring SPG1 โ Wavesightโs own data compression technology, Wavesight says that its wireless links provide low latency, quality video links suited itโs claimed to security and surveillance installations. The WaveSprint, WaveFlow and WaveMax wireless bridging systems provide secure video communications over distances of up to 40km, on unlicensed 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.
WaveSprint provides short distance wireless bridging, with data rates of up to 108Mbps, at distances up to 2km. WaveFlow meets requirements for wider area communications at distances up to 5km with data rates up to 108Mbps in turbo mode, while WaveMax offers up to 600Mbps (802.11n) and distances up to 40km.
Wavesightโs wireless links are supplied with the Wavesight RFAnalyser software suite for set-up and configuration. RFAnalyserโs link performance features allow the user to see and log RSSI, data rate, throughput and channel utilisation, per link, in real-time. SNMP support allows integration into third party network management.
All products are ruggedised to exceed IP67 protection standards and provide 24/7, all-weather reliability in outdoor installations. The housings are manufactured from vandal-resistant ABS and alloy.
