Pelco and Feeling Software report the integration of the Pelco Endura Video Management System with Feeling Software’s Omnipresence 3D and iGuard products.

The Omnipresence 3D Security Platform, an visual command and control application, may now be deployed to any new or existing location where Pelco Endura is installed.

An integrated system including Endura, Omnipresence 3D and iGuard Mobile Surveillance is currently being deployed at the École Polytechnique de Montréal, a university with 6000 students in Montreal, Canada. The deployment is scheduled for completion in summer 2010 and will enable the university to monitor and control nearly 400 cameras.

Feeling Software’s Omnipresence 3D platform makes it possible for a user to understand all surveillance video feeds at a glance to maximize the effectiveness of your video security. Omnipresence provides the context needed to understand massive amounts of visual information created in an enterprise-class surveillance system.

With the addition of an off-the-shelf iGuard server to any Endura system, security guards and managers may now access both live and archived video feeds from smart phones and PDAs, including Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch devices. This creates a mobile control centre to enhance overall facility security and deter crime.

Pelco says that its Endura IP video surveillance product is for recording, display, and management of unlimited standard resolution, HD, and megapixel cameras. Designed for the demands of professional IP video surveillance, Endura guarantees performance while optimising total cost of ownership. Through the optimization of software running on Pelco-produced COTS hardware and patented technologies such as EnduraStor and EnduraView, Endura allows operators to extract benefit from megapixel cameras while keeping system costs under control.

“We are pleased once again to partner with Feeling Software, a member of the Pelco Partner First Program. This newest integrated solution combines the strengths of both platforms, providing our mutual customers with added flexibility, performance and superior quality,” says Dave deLisser, Pelco Director of Integration.

“Pelco is a member of Feeling Software’s Technology Partner Program and we are pleased to work with them to create this new HD video surveillance solution,” says Christian Laforte, President of Feeling Software. “Feeling Software’s open platform design makes it easy to integrate into existing open enterprise-class systems.”
