Vision Systems Europe Ltd is employing the internet to educate fire and security managers about the manufacturer’s offerings.
Vision Systems’ Marketing Manager Helge Rognstad, said: "Web-based events are a great way of communicating because it allows system specifiers, consultants and channel partners to attend educational events from the comfort of their own office or home. All they need is a computer with an internet connection and a telephone."
Rognstad added: "We had over 60 people booking onto our first web-event. Once the word gets around we are expecting many more to dial in and hear presentations on subjects as diverse as remote video monitoring", aspirating smoke detection" and public address and voice alarm".
