A rise in the number of companies looking to exploit the full potential of broadband throughout their business operations – including security – has led AM Fire and Security to Emizon to secure its alarm monitoring installations over IP.
AM opted for Emizon 21 a dual-path, fully managed signalling service, following an introduction from Bosch Security Systems, for whom it is an approved dealer. In choosing Emizon 21, AM has opted for a service where all messages are managed over both the wired broadband and wireless GPRS networks, achieving resilience levels of 99.99 per cent and thereby bringing it is claimed an advantage over alternative point-to-point IP offerings on the market. Because Emizon 21 is available as a standard service from most ARCs, it fits seamlessly into existing practices, the firms add.
