Network CCTV product firm Verint has launched its Nextiva Infrastructure solutions, a series of and solutions for small to mid-sized video environments.
Using Verint wireless transmitters and video servers as building blocks, the Nextiva Infrastructure solutions offer a line of pre-configured solutions for video surveillance applications. Each packaged solution includes required hardware, software, cables, user documentation, and an installation guide.
David Parcell, Verint’s Managing Director, EMEA, says: โThe need for IP based video solutions that are simple to configure and install is critical to the adoption of IP. The Nextiva Infrastructure solutions have been designed to provide a suite of pre-configured solutions that have been tailored for the needs of the small to mid-sized video environment, whether wired or wireless.โ
Forequipment configuration and management there is SmartSetup, a Wizard-based configuration assistant, according to the firm. SmartSetup guides the user through each step of the hardware and software configuration and includes recommended configurations, customisation options and troubleshooting assistance, the firm adds. SmartSetup is Windows-based and can be run from any PC, Verint says.
