The IP UserGroup award is being added to the IP in Security Innovation Awards programme at the IIPSEC 2006 exhibition.
The award will go to the best product from a user group affiliate company in the opinion of the membership, presented at the awards gala dinner on January 25, 2006. Meanwhile, next stop for the groupโs IP-in-Action LIVE roadshow is Brussels, on Thursday, December 8. The theme: homeland security. Andy Hennings, Manager of the IP-in-Action LIVE, says: "With a very healthy European membership and many of our Affiliate members having European headquartersโ or offices, we thought it was time to take the tour overseas. As our global membership continues to grow daily, we need to give them the opportunity to become active within the organisation. Already a good number of affiliates are gearing up for the event." The roadshow covers networked security and building management technology, seeking to increase understanding and acceptance of IP technology across a range of applications.
