Distributor Norbain is offering customers a double price saving on the RV range from IR speed dome product company Redvision.
Redvision has announced that it has reduced the price of all cameras in the RV range. Norbain can further enhance this offering by providing customers exclusive pricing, providing a great deal for installers and end users alike.
The RV dome range combines IR illumination for night time, with colour daytime video. The RV18-830-DOME single and dual camera domes offer day/night operation and 530TVL resolution. Both feature a quarter-inch CCD sensor and the dual camera versions can supply simultaneous video streaming of both zoom (for close observation), and wide angle (for contextual views). If connected to a digital video recorder, both camera views can be recorded at the same time.
As for build the entire range has Sony camera modules, a polycarbonate hemisphere and die case aluminium enclosures, designed, manufactured and supported in the UK.
In addition to providing illumination through 360 degrees, IR cameras reduce energy consumption and running costs when compared to traditional halogen lighting. Also, because of the long life of the bulbs, rated at 50,000 hours compared to typically 2,000 hours for halogen bulbs, costs can be saved on bulb replacements and engineer service calls.
