J Durrance & Co, physical security product firm, has been awarded the contract to refurbish Ladbrokes shops with their new security door.
Developed, according to the product firm, with the bookmakersโ team of security managers through open forum discussions, J Durrance has designed and manufactured a three-bolt multi-point locking door, which has yet to be beaten, it is claimed.
Features of the door developed and manufactured by J Durrance, include:
steel encased locking points
metal sleeve encasing the door and locking area protects from a crowbar attack and prevents the door from splitting
steel hinge protector to prevent the frame from splitting
hinge security locking bar engages into the frame, nullifying a hinge attack
an overlap security strip to prevent access to the locking area
hidden steel angle to prevent breaking the lock out
angle steel brick protection preventing removal of the frame
As part of Ladbrokes refurbishment programme, the J Durrance security door will be installed throughout the 2,200 shops across the UK over the next three years.
