The National Centre for Personal Safety was officially re-launched at Suzy Lamplugh Trust’s new premises at 218 Strand, London, WC2.
Director of Personal Safety at the Trust, Sarah Haddon, said: “We are delighted with the new premises. The location is ideal for the Centre and we have already noticed an increase in the number of visitors since moving to a more central, accessible address.
“The move went very smoothly and our staff, management and Trustees are now looking forward with enthusiasm to the next stage in the development of Suzy Lamplugh Trust and the National Centre for Personal Safety.”
The Centre was officially declared open by MP for Richmond Park, Susan Kramer, who has recently signed up as Suzy Lamplugh Trust’s newest patron. In her speech, she praised the contribution to society that the Trust and Paul and Diana Lamplugh had made over the years.
Other attendees at the launch included Paul Lamplugh OBE, representatives from the Home Office, Transport for London, Westminster Police, the Public Carriage Office, Network for Surviving Stalking , Brentford City Learning Centre and Girlguiding UK.
