The Institute for Near East and Gulf Military Analysis – INEGMA announces a 70 per cent reservation rate at the second edition of the Security Middle East Show – SMES to take place on April 7 to 9, 2011 at BIEL, Beirut, Lebanon.

SMES is offering all its exhibitors facilities which include stand contracting, shipping services and accommodation packages. Exhibitors can now contact B-Productions stand contractor, Airlink International for all freight services, and hotels for accommodation packages (for more information log on to www.smesbeirut.com).

SMES which is patroned by Lebanese Prime Minister HE Saad El Hariri, is making official invitations this year to delegations and decision–makers from at least 30 countries from around the world. Exhibitors will have the chance to meet up with senior security officials from Asian, European, African and American countries. SMES will kick-off with a conference on the first day of the show, at the BIEL Pavillion. The conference will address homeland security, infrastructure security, critical structure security, border control and counter terrorism methods in the Middle East and world-wide.

The LAF and ISF will contribute to SMES as well through live demonstrations including shows by the air assault regiment and sea commandos regiment on the second day, and ISF special assault forces on the third day.

The organisers add that this year’s SMES conference and exhibition will bring to Beirut the latest in homeland, infrastructure, and structure security. Further details of the agenda and speakers of the conference will be posted on the website soon –
