Two names in commercial vehicle security and insurance are joining forces to help guide fleet operators through new regulations on lone worker safety and corporate manslaughter.
Safety and security equipment retailer Viper Guard and specialist transport insurance broker Wrightsure Insurance Group are to host a one-day conference at Viper Guard’s home base, Warwick HRI at Wellesbourne near Warwick (J15 M40), on Thursday, October 30. The event will feature presentations from top legal and safety people, and safety and security specialists have booked exhibition stands. The conference โ Attacks on Drivers and Corporate Manslaughter – takes place against the background of the International Road Transport Union’s survey of attacks on drivers. Frank Heinrich-Jones of Wrightsure will present the results of the IRU survey.
John Smith, head of the Crime Department at transport solicitors Ashford’s, will speak on the legal and regulatory issues about corporate manslaughter.
