ASSA ABLOY’s Aperio technology has been integrated with MAXXESS Systems’ eFusion software platform to deliver online and wireless locking.
Aperio enabling technology has been designed to allow upgrade of mechanical doors and wirelessly connect them to electronic access control systems, providing end-users with a way of increasing the controllability and security of their premises, the firms say.
Says Guy Willott, Senior Sales Manager at ASSA ABLOY Access Control: “With MAXXESS’ eLock solution integrating ASSA ABLOY’s Aperio technology, the complexity of installing and integrating with existing access control systems can be significantly reduced. The result is a totally online and wireless security solution, which offers flexible access control that operates in real time. This integration provides end- users with the ultimate in safety, security and convenience.”
eFusion is described as a suite of software modules which address specific security issues. When working together the modules collectively provide global integrated security management software. eFusion provides users with a business advantage as it allows them to respond to events, make more informed decisions, make better use of manpower and share information in their organisation, whilst reducing operating security costs.
Lee Copland, Managing Director of MAXXESS Systems said: “We see great potential for our customers to capitalise on what Aperio technology brings to our eLock solution. The greater flexibility and control of their buildings which we can now offer customers certainly justifies the efforts of the MAXXESS design engineers and ASSA ABLOY’s technical team who worked closely together to facilitate the integration.”
