Essex-based Serv Security, the electronic security installers, again sponsored the City of London Police/DARE float in the 2008 Lord Mayor’s Show.
DARE is a charity devoted to teaching children and young people the dangers of drugs. Each child on the programme undergoes an extensive and enjoyable course facilitated by a Police Officer. Following this a special graduation ceremony is held in one of the City of London schools to celebrate the successes they have attained.
Two of the directors of Serv took part in the parade; Jamie Howard and Lee Raife said: ‘As a company we give our wholehearted support to this worthwhile and important cause. Being in the security business we appreciate the importance of keeping our young people safe and will continue to support this initiative in the future.’
Serv Security, as part of the Serv Group, report another successful trading year and to reflect this have now moved to larger premises in Laindon.
