This small unit is no bigger than an average mobile phone, incorporating functions to ensure safety for lone workers. The device offers live tracking with full street level mapping for 24/7 positional information throughout Europe, with one minute automatic tracking updates for a full 12 hour shift to give constant location monitoring location. PTrack is always switched on, with no off switch, and operates via a fast, one button panic alert. This activates a visual alarm at the control centre, flashing red on the client PC screen with full details of user and location. At the same time, the unit sends a panic alert text to several designated mobile phone numbers with details of user and location. All numbers may be configured remotely if changes are required.
As a safety feature, the control centre can dial in to the PTrack unit at any time using an auto-answering facility to communicate with or listen in to the immediate environment of the unit. Journey replay and a full reporting suite are included, with a voice SIM to receive incoming voice calls. PTrack features an automatic ŒSleep‚ function when no motion is detected, and automatic switch on when moved to conserve power. PTrack is supplied with a built-in belt clip for ease of use and a vehicle power adapter.
