The new Israeli factory covers 8,500 square metres. It will house all the Visonic production departments including electronics, plastics and warehousing. Previously the departments were located in sites in Tel Aviv and Kiryat Gat and the centralising of services is to provide a ‘significant increase in efficiency’, the firm claims. Visonic’s UK distribution headquarters is based in Bedford where managing Director Keith Donovan commented: ‘This new manufacturing plant reflects Visonic’s continuing growth. It will enable an increase in manufacturing output that allows us to meet the growing demand for the products across the UK.
