Consultancy Greymans is running its next Mass Gathering Vulnerability Analysis seminar on February 23, in London.
Later seminars are planned to run on 30 March; 27 April; 25 May; 29 June; and, 27 July.
Chris Flaherty writes:
3D Vulnerability analysis involving physical security is a set of techniques for looking at complex security and risk problems where there are a multitude of potential threats, or more precisely many of the potential threats are not apparent as these arise from consequences.
In many respects 3D vulnerability analysis is the physical and people side, of the same analysis methodology being used in the IT world, where the emphasis is on connections and asset visualizations … The relevance to security and risk is that this type of analysis increasingly will be needed for the development of area protection, against asymmetric threats of terrorism, and integration of this planning with police, security, and counter-terrorism strategies for defending urban mass gathering spaces.
