MITIE reports that its security business has recently entered into a strategic partnership with SSS Management Services. It will support them in jointly developing their provision of integrated response and electronic security services.
The partnership, which began in May after a six month trial, will enable MITIE to expand its services to businesses looking to combine the installation and maintenance of their CCTV and access control systems with real-time remote monitoring, access and egress control and CCTV patrol capabilities.
As part of the agreement, MITIE will relocate its remote monitoring to SSSโ communications centre in Bristol. The new partnership will also see the two companies developing a new and integrated response service which will combine SSSโ alarm receiving capabilities with the dedicated national response service which MITIE launched in April. Clients of both organisations will benefit from a single package that comprises alarm receiving and response. SSS will progressively take over responsibility for the despatching and controlling of MITIEโs response team when on the road helping to further reduce response times.
