Among the stars of the movie Wimbledon are security officers from Group 4 Securicor (UK Security).
Much of the filming was at The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) during the 2003 and 2004 Championships. Group 4 Securicor is the official supplier of security for the event. Officers wearing distinctive yellow and blue uniforms can be seen in numerous scenes.
‘Wimbledon’ the movie has been developed by Working Title, the team behind the hit comedies ‘Bridget Jones’ Diary’ and ‘Notting Hill.’ The production focuses on a British player’s last attempt at winning the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships while romancing an American tennis starlet.
