Distributor Norbain reports it is now offer ing the new WARRIOR II explosion protected LED illuminators from CCTV lighting specialists Raytec.
Designed to deliver night-time images in hazardous places, WARRIOR II has been ATEX approved for all Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas. Using PLATINUM SMT LED technology, it delivers the makers say low energy, explosion protected lighting at distances up to 150m and angles from 10 to 120 degrees.
Featuring an integrated power supply unit, WARRIOR II offers it’s claimed a cost effective and safe installation option. Each unit is fitted with Active LED Life Control to control LED output, delivering a projected working life of 10 years with low running costs and zero maintenance, according to the manufacturers.

The units are now in full manufacture and ready for demonstration in any of the Norbain Innovation Centres across the country."
