Northern Irish Launch

by Msecadm4921

April 4 saw the open day at guarding company NorthSec Security Services (NI) Ltd in Mallusk, Northern Ireland, as previewed in the March print edition of Professional Security.

More than 40 local business representatives attended. In addition there were local council and civic officers. Those attending heard speeches from company chairman Jeff Bothwell, Managing Director Gary Lewis, and Training Manager Roy McPartland. Invited guests Stefan Hay (MD of training firm SITO and Deputy Chief Executive of the BSIA) and Justin Bentley (Deputy International Chairman of IPSA) made speeches and presented certificates to Jeff Bothwell.

Alderman Ted Turkington (Mayor of Newtownabbey) presented a plaque and spoke of his pleasure that NorthSec had chosen to trade from Newtownabbey. After the formalities the guests had lunch and took the chance to speak to the NorthSec team. Photo to follow in the May print edition of Professional Security.
