The National Security Inspectorate (NSI) announces that it has achieved Investors in People status.
This formalises and provides public recognition of NSI’s continuing commitment to staff development.
The Investors in People Standard provides a recognised framework that helps organisations to improve performance and realise objectives through the effective management and development of their people. It can provide companies with a benchmark with which to compare and provide a template for future business development through investing in staff.
What they say
Andrew White, NSI’s Chief Executive, said; "Gaining IIP status is a tremendous achievement and reflects positively on NSI. We expect the companies we approve to achieve high levels of performance standards and it is vitally important that we also do this. Our low level of staff turnover and their commitment are reflective of NSI’s emphasis on investing in staff historically. However, working towards achieving IIP helped us to further improve the way we work and provides formal recognition of this commitment."
