A new Home Office ministerial team has been announced in the Cabinet reshuffle.
As former ministers Liam Byrne and Tony McNulty move on to other roles at other departments, the Home Office has acquired two new ministers.<br><br>Phil Woolas MP joins the Home Office as Minister of State for borders and immigration, replacing Liam Byrne.  He was previously Minister of State for the environment at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural affairs.<br><br>Alan Campbell, Tynemouth MP since 1997, joins as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State responsible for crime, and the SIA . He’s replacing Vernon Coaker, who has been shuffled into a different role. Mr Campbell was previously a government whip. <br><br>Home Office Minister Vernon Coaker replaces Tony McNulty as Minister of State for policing, security and crime. The other Home Office ministers retain their previous roles.
